Cranston High Schools West and East are proving that students don’t have to choose between rigorous academics and career preparation. Through Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs like Medical Pathways, Pre-Engineering, IT, and Culinary Arts, students graduate with industry certifications, college credits, and hands-on experience—all while taking AP courses and participating in extracurriculars. Statewide data shows that students completing at least two CTE courses outperform peers on national assessments and have higher graduation rates.
